About
Meet Ms Farah Kader
Farah read French at King's College London where she spent a year abroad studying at the University of London in Paris. Farah went on to work for the British Council as an English Language Assistant, at a Lycée in Paris after her degree. Having found her passion for teaching, Farah completed her PGCE with QTS, has an NPQ in Leading Teaching and is a certified ECT Mentor. Farah has over fifteen years professional experience of teaching French at nursery, primary and secondary schools in both Inner and Outer state and private, London schools.Teaching English goes hand in hand when teaching a foreign language to non-native speakers in the UK. As a result, Farah is able to teach English Language at an array of levels to both non and EAL learners. She most recently worked for a few years as the Network Lead for French collaborating with twenty-three schools in a Multi-Academy Trust, as well as a Head of French at a secondary school teaching up to A-Level, an ECT Mentor and an EPQ Coordinator. In addition, Farah is also a GCSE French examiner for two leading UK boards, allowing her to bring examiner insight directly into teaching, tutoring, and coaching practice.
Her students and tutees have always succeeded with top GCSE and A-Level results over the years.
Farah understands that all learners have different needs and has expertise surrounding pedagogy for SEND and EAL learners, where she successfully taught and led a whole cohort of students through to GCSE and A-Level where everyone has achieved a pass grade owing to her diverse and tailored teaching styles. Farah believes there is not a 'one size fits all' to teaching languages.
Her passion for language learning still continues as an adult, using her own transferable linguistic skills to learn Korean at the King Sejeong Institute, successfully reaching intermediate-level and winning the ‘best pronunciation’ award at the Korean Speaking Contest in 2025 and a runner up in 2026.
Being extremely passionate about languages and linguistics, Farah has spoken as a Guest Speaker at the London Languages Show in person and Online in collaboration with the British Council UK. With her cultural understanding and outreach projects, Farah pioneered Arabic and Korean Language classes in schools, in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Centre, Qatar Foundation International and British Council, securing fully funded teaching year after year, providing students with opportunities to become global citizens and appreciate diversity and cultures.
