Tuition Fees
Hagwon Education Plus offers one-to-one tuition, small group lessons and summer intensive packages in French, English Language and English as an Additional Language.
Prices vary depending on the learner’s stage, subject, level, lesson format and preparation required. All prices below are guide prices and final fees are confirmed after an initial enquiry.
Online tuition rates are listed below. In-person tuition may be available in London areas by arrangement and is typically priced at a higher rate to reflect travel time and location. Exact in-person pricing is confirmed after enquiry.
One-to-One Tuition

In-Person Tuition (London Areas)
In-person tuition may be available depending on location, availability and scheduling.
Typical in-person rates start from £10–£20 above online pricing, depending on travel distance and lesson requirements.

KS3: from £55–£65 per hour
GCSE: from £65–£75 per hour
A-Level: from £80–£90 per hour

Small Group Tuition
Group tuition is available where learners are at a similar level and have compatible goals. Group fees are usually charged per learner.
Group tuition may be suitable for siblings, friends, revision groups, speaking practice, exam preparation or summer intensive learning.
In-person group sessions may be available and are priced individually depending on location and group size.

Summer Intensive Packages
Summer intensive packages are designed for learners who want to make focused progress over a shorter period of time. They may be delivered as one-to-one lessons or small group sessions depending on the learner’s needs and availability.

5-Hour Revision Block
From £250 / €299 (online)
Usually delivered as 5 × 1-hour lessons or 3 longer focused sessions. Suitable for revision, confidence-building, grammar consolidation or targeted skill support.

10-Hour Intensive Block
From £475 / €568 (online)
Usually delivered as 10 × 1-hour lessons, 5 × 2-hour sessions, or a flexible intensive structure. Suitable for learners who want deeper progress over several days or weeks.

GCSE Speaking and Writing Booster

Usually delivered as 5 focused lessons. Suitable for GCSE French or English Language students needing support with speaking, writing, exam technique and confidence.

Usually delivered as 5 focused lessons. Suitable for A-Level French students preparing for essays, speaking exams, grammar, themes, literature, film or final revision.

Usually delivered as 5 × 1-hour lessons. Suitable for adult learners who want to improve fluency, confidence, pronunciation and everyday communication.

Initial Enquiry and Trial Options

Free — 15 minutes
A short online call to discuss the learner’s needs, current level, goals, availability and the most suitable tuition option.

Diagnostic Trial Session
From £25 — 30 minutes
A short paid session to assess level, identify priorities and recommend a suitable tuition plan.

First Full Lesson
Charged at the relevant hourly rate depending on the learner’s stage and subject.
Payment and Booking Notes
Bookings are confirmed once the lesson, package or course has been agreed and payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment may be made by bank transfer or secure Stripe payment link.
Stripe payment links should only be used once the lesson, package or consultation has been confirmed by Hagwon Education Plus.
Cancellation terms apply. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a paid lesson.
