Tuition

Hagwon Education Plus offers structured, supportive and personalised tuition for school students, university learners and adults.

Whether the goal is exam preparation, stronger language skills, improved confidence, or more fluent communication, lessons are designed around the learner’s level, needs and ambitions.

Tuition is available in three main formats: one-to-one private tuition, small group sessions and summer intensive courses. Each option is carefully planned to provide clear teaching, targeted practice and practical next steps.

One-to-one tuition

One-to-one tuition is the most personalised way to work with Hagwon Education Plus. It is ideal for learners who need focused support, individual feedback and lessons built entirely around their goals.

This option is suitable for primary and secondary pupils, GCSE and A-Level students, university learners, adult beginners, conversation learners and learners developing English as an Additional Language. Lessons can support French, English Language, EAL, grammar, speaking, writing, reading, listening, exam technique, confidence and academic study skills.

A typical one-to-one lesson may include a review of current strengths and gaps, clear teaching of key concepts, guided practice, feedback, targeted exam or language tasks, and agreed next steps. Where appropriate, learners may receive tailored home assignments or revision activities to reinforce progress between sessions.

One-to-one tuition is especially useful for learners who are preparing for exams, struggling with confidence, aiming for higher grades, returning to language learning, or needing a calm and structured approach.

Group tuition

Group tuition offers a focused and supportive way to learn with others at a similar level. It is suitable for learners who would benefit from structured teaching, guided practice and shared discussion in a small group environment.

Group sessions may be available for French, English Language, EAL, GCSE revision, speaking practice, grammar, writing skills, exam preparation or summer courses, depending on learner demand and suitability. Groups are kept purposeful and carefully matched so that learners are working at a broadly similar stage.

A group session may include direct teaching, shared practice, exam-style tasks, speaking activities, vocabulary development, grammar consolidation, writing support and feedback. The aim is to make learning engaging, clear and accessible while still maintaining high expectations.

Group tuition may suit families looking for a more accessible price point, siblings or friends working at a similar stage, or learners who enjoy the motivation and interaction of studying with others.

Summer intensive courses

Summer intensive courses are designed for learners who want to make focused progress over a shorter period of time. They are ideal for students who want to prepare for the next academic year, strengthen confidence, catch up after a difficult term, revise for exams, or improve key language skills during the summer.

Courses may focus on French, English Language or EAL, depending on the learner’s needs. They can support GCSE preparation, A-Level preparation, grammar, speaking, writing, vocabulary, exam technique, confidence building, adult conversation practice or English communication skills.

Summer intensives may be delivered as one-to-one lessons or small group sessions. The structure can be adapted depending on the learner’s goals, for example a 5-hour revision block, a 10-hour intensive package, a GCSE booster, an A-Level preparation block, or an adult conversation confidence course.

A summer intensive is useful for learners who want clear goals, focused teaching and visible progress without committing to long-term weekly tuition immediately.
